The photo I chose to show for my story is how I have always remembered my Aunt Virginia. Her smile would light up a room. I remember a time when we came to visit and I had nothing to wear for a Goetz family picture and she said I could wear something of Linda's. She knew how to make you feel special and she showed it. Even as an adult, I would still get a birthday card in the mail. Sometimes, the card contained a few simple words to just see how we are doing. I wish I had the opportunity to know her better, however, life takes us where we go and for me it was always distant. I never forgot her in my thoughts and prayers even now that she is with God in heaven. Aunt Virginia, along with Grandpa and Grandma Goetz and Uncle Duane, will be looking down on us and showing us the way. You will be missed, Aunt Virginia. We love you dearly.
