A fantastic guy. We worked together for several months, and It was always a pleasure. We'll miss You.Melanie Meadows For the brief years that I knew David through mutual friends, I found him to be a kind and fascinating man. I am deeply saddened by his death and know he will be greatly missed by his many friends in Nashville. With much love and sympathy to David's family, Melanie Meadows Nashville, TNMark Johnson Dave was a dear friend that I will miss very much. He touched so many lives with his kindness and good spirit. He loved to travel to diffrent places and he made many friends across the country and abroad. He kept a beautiful garden at home and had the most amazing Disney collection I've ever seen. He loved music and movies and owned what might have been the last remaining Laser Disc Player in the world (No Dave, they're not ever coming back into style!) Dave never let a moment go to waste. He lived his life to the fullest. I'll miss Dave a lot. He left us too soon.Keith Glad Dave was someone who had a real zest for living. I think this is why it is almost unfathomable to me that he is gone. His interests were wide ranging and varied. He never did anyhting just half way. He was so passionate about both his work and hobbies. Dave and I shared a love of movies and entertainment. He loved his DISNEY and his OO7. We were always discussing the latest review of a new film. He knew my love of the Oscars and he couldn't wait to share with me the details of the Kodak Theater (the new home of the Oscar Ceremonies) which he visited on one of his many trips. We also debated and arugued over movie trivia...I'm gonna miss that. Mark and I cherished our friendship with Dave. His loyalty and dependability were unmatched. I can't pretend to understand why he had to go so soon. But I can tell you that David Bevilacqua will not be forgotten. He was a class act. Todd Heczko (Nashville,TN) To Dave's Family: Dave, will missed here in Nashville, TN! Every time he entered a room he brought his warmth, charm and his great pose on life. He always was their to lend an ear, when in need. He was the brother to many and one I never had and wished for. He was a loving member of our community. He will be missed by all here in Nashville and who he has touched. DAVE You were a friend indeed. Dave just keep an ear out for you never know when one of us down here might need your help. And when you see my family tell them Hi for me and give them all a hug as well. My heart and thoughts go out to DaveÂ’s family. He was one Awesome friend. David Newman David-- although we only met once--as Groomsmen in Megan and Gary's wedding--I know you were a wonderful Uncle, loving son and dedicated brother. My prayers are with your family at his unexpected, very sad time. With deepest sympathy, David NewmanJulie Potts Dave was truly a wonderful and caring person who will be missed greatly. It's hard to imagine not seeing his smiling face out and about in Nashville. All the years that I have known Dave were filled with fun, whether we were at work or out dancing the night away. He always brought a smile to those he was around. I will miss his friendship the most, as I know everyone who knew him will. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.Mark Walter I meet Dave about 10 years ago at one of his favorite places Disney World. He was wonderful friend and a great travel buddy. I still cannot believe he is gone and I am very glad I had the opportunity to be part of this life.Ray Linder My deepest sympathies go out to your family. I was stunned and saddened to hear of this news. Although its been a number of years since I have seen you all, I still hold many fond memories of my times spent with your family. You all were very special to me and made me feel part of the family. David was a great guy who I had the pleasure of knowing & sharing a part of my life. Our prayers are with him and you during this time. Marc Wagner I lived with David at his home on Koegler Avenue for about a year. David opened his home to me when I needed. We spent a lot of time together. I helped him with his renovations of the Rex Theater. I was so sadden to hear of his death. Even though he moved, I moved and we lost contact of the many years. I thought of him often. I know my life was better because of David. Thank you David.......Rusty Gordon I was stunned to learn of Dave's passing when I read my August Boxoffice magazine. Dave and I each shared the thrill of theatre ownership, the experience of working for circuits and most recently the service to exhibitors as suppliers to the industry. Every year we would take a night at ShoWest and go to the HardRock in Vegas and take in the sights on the strip. He and I are nearly the same age so it especially hits home. My condolences to his family. Dave was a true friend.Regis Merenick 10/20/05 Dear David's Family and Friend: I only today found about David's passing from a search online. I have been trying to reach him recently. The last I heard from him was by email. That he was going to go to Pittsburgh for the Memorial Day weekend. Yet I grew up in Pittsburgh, I have only known David for just over Four years when I met him here in Chicago. A short time but I consider him a good friend. Always staying over a few days when coming through Chicago to visit with me and sending postcards from his travels. I also got to see him in Salt Lake City when I was passing through. I remember a lot of good times. As many here have already mentioned he did have a zest for life which was infectious. He liked to talk A LOT. He also talked with a lot of affection about his friend Danny in Pittsburgh, his friends in Nashville, and his brother Jamie. I miss him and he is in my prayers. God bless you who know and love him. Love, Rege
