Obituary for Mary P. Zeman

Mary P. Zeman,
77, of Canonsburg, died Saturday, July 30, 2005, in Donnell House, Washington. She was born May 11, 1928, in Chartiers Township, a daughter of Frank B. and Priscilla Swihart Dove. Prior to her retirement, she was a secretary and paralegal for Zeman and Zeman law firm. She was a member of Washington County Legal Secretaries Association, Lawyers Wives Association, Quota Club and Symphony South. She enjoyed modeling and modeled for several dress shops in Washington. On December 31, 1962, she married Robert L. Zeman, who died April 9, 1995. Surviving are a daughter, Iris J. Castagna of New Mexico; a stepdaughter, Valeria R. Zeman of Washington D.C.; two stepsons, David W. Zeman (Kathleen) of Canonsburg and Jonathan C. Zeman of New York; two stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth E. Perrine and Lois J. Cameron of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a sister, Kathryn Baker; a brother, Charles Dove; and her first husband, Patrick G. Moody. At the request of the family, there will be no public visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Bogan Funeral Homes Inc., 164 West Pike Street, Canonsburg.
