Obituary for Ethel L. Johnson

Ethel L. Johnson,
Of Glen Cannon, age 89,on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at Tandem Assisted Living, Canonsburg. She was born August 12, 1915 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Thomas and Mary (McGathen) Lowman. Mrs. Johnson was a former secretary in the Peters Township School District. Her husband, Elmer Johnson, preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Carter; a son, Carl E. Johnson; three grandchildren, Terri Grier, Merri Sue Carter and Pamela Smith and eight grandchildren. Friends will be received at BEINHAUERS, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211, on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at Chartiers Hill United Presbyterian Church. 'Everyone please meet at the church'. Interment will be private. The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Chartiers Hill Presbyterian Church, 2230 Washington Rd. Canonsburg, PA 15317.
