Age 97, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Canada and Poland. Peacefully passed away on Christmas Eve morning, December 24, 2020. Wanda was the beloved wife of George F. Lambl; loving mother of Barbara Lambl, George Lambl, Chris Lambl, and Andrew (Jean) Lambl; devoted grandmother/Babka of David (Bridget) Lambl; sister of Eugene Socha. Wanda was the anchor of her family as a devoted wife and mother. While raising four children, she helped support her family as a bookkeeper. As charity work was important to her, she worked to help the poor and volunteered her time with the Salvation Army. Wanda was a devout Catholic and attended Mass every Sunday. She loved flower gardening and was an excellent cookie baker. In her younger days, Wanda was a Royal Air Force meteorologist for bombing raids over Germany, as well as a teacher in Palestine during WWII.
