Age 73, passed at home on September 11, 2022. He was born on December 28, 1948 in Dallas, Texas, the son of the late William and Elizabeth Hally. Tom is survived by his wife of 48 years Mary Lou (Mariani), sister-in-law Olivia Marie Preston, nephews and grandnephews Michael (Trisha), Adam and Daniel Preston and John (Amy) and Ryan Preston. Also many cousins, aunts and treasured friends.

Tom served in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service and, after discharge, moved to Rochester, New York to attend Rochester Institute of Technology. Tom was employed by Eastman Kodak Company and remained with Kodak 33 years before retiring. He was also a musician and, while in Rochester, provided entertainment professionally for a multitude of various occasions. After retirement, Tom became an avid backyard birdwatcher and enjoyed all the activity between the bird-feeder and bird-bath.
