Obituary for Robert F. "Bob" Carter Jr.

Robert “Bob” F. Carter, Jr., age 72, of Bethel Park, PA, passed away unexpectedly, the morning of July 14, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Carol Carter, daughters, Stacy Carter-Stevens (Joe Burdelsky), Stephanie Carter, and granddaughter, Alexis Stevens, as well as a host of family, neighbors and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his sister, Cecelia Carter-Washburn, and his parents, May and Robert F. Carter, Sr. Bob served in the United States Coast Guard for 5 years and was later stationed as a Lieutenant at the Marine Safety Office in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a dedicated employee of Dravo Lime Inc. | Carmeuse North America (Pittsburgh Branch) for 40 years as a Traffic Analyst and Logistic Specialist. Bob had a passion for history, an enjoyment for reading and learning, and a pride for his lawn and landscaping. He always found joy in vacationing to Virginia Beach in the summer and spending time with his family, the love that he had for them was unmatched. Bob’s humbleness, compassion, and kindness were just a few of the characteristics that made him an unforgettable Husband, Dad and Pappap. He will be greatly missed.

Arrangements by BEINHAUER. Friends received Saturday at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, where a Blessing Service will be held at 7:00 PM.
