Michael Warren Jones, 52, of Upper St. Clair, PA, left his cherished family and friends June 2, 2022. He was the devoted and loving son of William and Mary Gay Jones, who preceded him in death. He was the youngest brother of Andrew (Helen) Jones, Deborah (Dean) Jackson, and Jeffrey (Tracy) Jones.

Mike graduated from Upper St. Clair high school in 1988, excelling in football and baseball. After graduating from West Virginia University, he returned home to Upper St. Clair to care for family. He was very bright and truly enjoyed a good (or bad) pun. As a caring friend, he was attentive and invested in the lives of those he loved. He was a lifelong Penguins, Steelers, and Pirates fan. He loved to play golf with his buddy Chip and was the holder of the ceremonial belt bestowed on the Jones’ basement ping-pong champion. He enjoyed following his nieces’ and nephews’ basketball and softball games on the radio. He was an avid dog lover, particularly his amazing lab Hoss.

Mike is survived by his siblings, and by nephews, Derick Jones, Garrett (Paige) Jackson, Adam Jackson of North Vernon, IN, and Sam Jones of Chuluota, FL, and nieces Jami (Chris Ridgley) Jones of Greensburg, IN, Katie (Denton) Monteith of Indianapolis, IN, and Marlee Jones of North Vernon, IN. Additionally, he is survived by three great-nephews and nieces; Hunter and Adalynn Ridgely, and Mara Monteith.

Visitation for Mike will be Tuesday, June 7 at Beinhauer Funeral Home in McMurray, PA, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., with a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to come and share stories and recount memories with those who loved Mike. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mike’s name can be made to Mercy Rescue, PO Box 537, North Vernon, IN 47265 (https://www.mercyrescueandadoption.com/).
