Mary Alice (Hoag) Harrison, born December 13, 1925, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022.
Her life ended with her family at her side, at Sunrise Senior Living Community in Upper St. Clair, assisted by Gateway Hospice.
She was a graduate of Pennsylvania College for Women (Chatham University).
She married John A. Harrison, Jr., with whom she had three children. She bred and showed AKC champion Bull Terriers, and operated a boarding kennel. For a number of years she also managed Hallmark stores in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.
She was loved and will be missed by her children and their spouses: Patricia H. and Richard Easton, Christine and Wayne Gump, and John A. Harrison III; and her grandchildren: Elizabeth Flohr, Richard Easton III, Matthew Easton, Daniel Gump (Hannah), Jesse Landis (John), Rebecca and Meredith Harrison; as well as six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her devoted Hoag nephews, Robert, Thomas, Richard and Michael; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
Interment will be private. A service to celebrate her life will be held in late spring at Trinity Methodist Church.
