Surrounded by her loving family, Marcella Marie "Marcy" (Stalter) Boss died peacefully at the age of 94 on December 27, 2020. Marcy was born on January 16, 1926 and grew up on Tripoli St. on the NorthSide of Pittsburgh. She was married for 55 years to the love of her life, Robert Boss of Pittsburgh. Marcy and Bob shared a home and raised a family in Mt. Lebanon. For many years they worked together in the family real estate business, Mt. Lebanon Sales (Boss Real Estate). Upon retirement, Marcella and Robert moved to Citrus Springs, Florida. There, Marcella served her community as a compassionate volunteer for Hospice, and joyful classroom aide in a local first grade classroom. She also faithfully served her beloved faith community of Elizabeth Seton Parish as a greeter, a Eucharistic minister, and a Sunday School CCD instructor for many years, even after the death of her husband in 2002. Marcy and her husband, Bob, also founded an organization they called “Christians United in Christ”. Through this organization, they worked tirelessly to unite dozens of Christian churches all over their community to come together as one in joyful praise and celebration of their common Christian faith. The organization still thrives today, 30 years later, actively fund raising for local food pantry and bringing diverse people together in one voice of praise and celebration of their common Christian faith and values. Marcella is survived by her 6 loving children Barbara (Greg) Tomb, Robert (Peggy) Boss Jr, Beverly (John) Owen, William (Kathy) Boss, Bethany (Emilio) Abreu and Bruce Boss, her 11 grandchildren, and her 11 beloved great grandchildren who commend her spirit to the hand of God to rest in peace.
