Obituary for Linda Jo Machi
April 15, 1966 – March 18, 2022
Age 55, of Upper St. Clair, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022, surrounded by the love and support of family and friends. Beloved wife of John Machi; devoted mother of Ashlyn and Alexa; cherished sister of Loren (Gary) Heckel; sister-in-law of Michelle (Joel) Like, Frank (Denise) Machi, Chris (Dawn) Machi and Joey (Christi) Budd; daughter-in-law of Bob and Judy Budd; as well as a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ada M. Faccenda. A graduate of Duquesne University, Linda dedicated her life to caring for others as a registered nurse at St. Clair Hospital for 30 years. Her favorite memories included vacations to Disney World and Hilton Head Island, hosting Christmas Eve with extended family and game nights around the dinner table. But Linda was most proud of her two daughters, Ashlyn, a PharmD candidate, and Alexa, a sophomore studying physical therapy, both at Duquesne University. Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, March 22nd, from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 23rd, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Parish, St. Louise de Marillac Church. Interment will immediately follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
