Obituary for Kathy Sue Majer
Age 71, formerly of Brookline, passed away on December 9, 2022, with her son by her side.
Born June 17, 1951, Kathy was a caring daughter, devoted mother, and most recently a proud grandmother.
Though born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kathy spent years living in both Los Angeles, California and Miami, Florida, where she enjoyed many days soaking up the sun and living the beach life to the fullest. Kathy loved nature and especially loved flowers. She was an avid animal lover and cared deeply for her many pets over the years.
Kathy worked tirelessly as a nurse for more than 30 years. Over the span of her career, she cared for many people, young and old. She truly cared to help those in need. However, her favorite period of her career was while she worked as a Neonatal Nurse, caring for newborn babies.
Kathy was preceded in death by her lovely mother Suzanne (McBurney) Majer, and younger sister Karen Lee Baker. She is survived by her son Michael Majer and his wife Jules; the light of her life in the end, her grandson Malcolm Alan Majer, who all made the entirety of her world. Kathy will be remembered for her caring nature, radiant beauty, and love of family.
