She was the beloved wife of the late Osmond Gardner; loving mother of Richard (Debra) Gardner of Eighty Four, PA, Sarah (Charles) Brink of Assonet, MA and the late Charles (Penny-surviving) Gardner of Orange City, FL; proud grandmother of Brian, Benjamin, and Kathryn Gardner, and Joshua and Zachary Brink; and great-grandmother to Susie Gardner and Bailey Brink. Daughter of the late Alonzo MacDonald and Katie MacDonald. She was the loving sister of the late Alice Evans, Margaret White, and Sarah MacDonald. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. Kittye was born in Huntsville, Alabama over 97 years ago, and although she lived in the Pittsburgh area for over sixty years, she never lost her southern charm. She was an active member of many organizations, including the Ruthford Acres Womens Club, DAR, and AARP Chapter #506, where she organized and led many trips, both worldwide and domestic. She was also a member of St. David's Episcopal Church. Her other interests included genealogy, needlework, and playing bridge. Arrangement by BEINHAUER. A private service was held for immediate family members on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Entombment at St. David's Episcopal Church.
