Obituary for Karl W. "Bill" Edler Jr.
Karl W. “Bill” Edler, Jr., age 85, of Canonsburg, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023.
He was born March 9, 1937, in Curwensville, PA, a son of the late Karl W. and Clara (Miller) Edler.
Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Fuerth, Germany. He worked as a ramp serviceman for Trans World Airlines retiring after 37 years of dedicated service.
Bill was a 30 year member of Chartiers Hill United Presbyterian Church where he served as both a deacon and usher. He was also a member of Chartiers Lodge No. 297 F&AM and volunteered with meals on wheels. Bill enjoyed train sets and was an avid bicycle rider.
Surviving is his beloved wife, Kathleen M. Edler; a son, David James Edler and wife Sherri; and a granddaughter, Emily Jo Edler.
Deceased in addition to his parents, are two infant twin sons.
Arrangements entrusted to Beinhauer Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
