Justin Monroe Jackson, 35, of McMurray, PA died unexpectantly Monday, October 26, 2020. He was born July 5, 1985 in Pittsburgh. He was the beloved son of Rebecca Jackson and the late Jay Jackson of McMurray, PA; loving brother of Michelle (Nate) Heins of Pittsburgh and uncle of Alexander Heins. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Justin graduated from Peters Township High School. While a student at Peters Township High School, he was a member of the swim team who qualified for states and medaled his junior and senior years. He also graduated from CCBC to become an Air Traffic Control Specialist. While attending CCBC, he also obtained his pilot’s license and his instrument rating. He began his career as an Air Traffic Control Specialist in Fayetteville, North Carolina where he remained for 8 years. He had recently transferred to Pittsburgh International Airport.
Justin loved the outdoors! He was an avid mountain biker who participated in many extreme downhill mountain bike races. He also enjoyed hiking, camping, backpacking and skiing. He had a passion for photography, especially of National Parks, sunrise, sunsets and waterfalls. Justin served on the ski patrol at Snowshoe for many seasons.
Justin is remembered by his friends and family as someone who was always there to support them, especially in times of need. He was kind, funny and always up for adventure. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
A private memorial service will be held for family at Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, on Saturday, 10/31/2020 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the
