Obituary for Judith Ann Molinero

Age 71, of McMurray, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 1, 2023.

She was born October 29, 1951, in Penn Hills, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Thom) Hohman.

Judy was a graduate of Penn Hills High School. She worked in the banking industry for over 40 years and after retiring worked with the Teamsters 211 Pension Fund.

She enjoyed sitting on her porch in the summer with her beautiful flowers, reading, traveling, watching the news and Hallmark movies. Judy also loved hosting family events and always welcomed everyone into her home. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, she was their biggest cheerleader.

She was the beloved wife for 51 years to Anthony Molinero; loving mother of Melissa (Mark) Buttigieg, Allison (Jason) Shanafelt and Adam Molinero; cherished grandmother of Carter, Sophie, Lucas, Maddie, Braxton and Emme; sister of Bob (Jean) Hohman, Janet Brown, Jeff (Denise) Hohman, Michelle (Mick) Sowko, Barry Hohman, Kevin Hohman and Letty (J.D.) Macioce; also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.

Family and friends are welcome on Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray (724-941-3211). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. John XXIII Parish, St. Benedict the Abbot Church. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
