Age 88, of Bethel Park, peacefully passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Constance (Thomas) Battaglia; Loving father of Bruce (Linda) Battaglia and the late Lynn Stanford; treasured stepfather of Deborah (Rory) Smith, Michael (Peggy) Cue, Lori (Keith) Sink, Donna (Carl) Lieberman, and Brian Saltzman; proud grandfather to many grandchildren and great grandchildren; caring brother of the late August, Thomas and Anthony Battaglia and Mary Saeli. He is survived by many nieces and nephews whom he was very close to. Adored son of the late Francesco and Vincenza (Ortascio) Battaglia. Joseph was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Carpenters and Joiners of America Union #252. He was an amazing woodworker, and over the years enjoyed creating many works of art with his woodworking and welding skills. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUER-CONNELL.
