Obituary for Jeannette Mary Speicher
Age 96, of South Park Township, passed away on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023.
She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Walter and Jennie (Bruns) Scholosky.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, John Speicher, son, Brian, brother, William Bruns, and sisters, Dorothy Campbell, Stella Dressel and Helen Bruns.
She is survived by her children, son Jeffrey Speicher; daughter, Sandy (Tom) Berggren and grandchildren Troy, Cody, Shawn and Jenny.
Jeannette was a teacher’s aide who worked for the Allegheny Intermediate Unit (AIU). She was an active member of the Nativity Church of South Park, the Christian Mothers of South Park and the Women’s Club. Jeanette could be found working the Voting Poles in her Community on Election Day.
Her passions were working in her garden and decorating. Jeanette was also an avid book reader. She loved being with her family and will be dearly missed by them.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 24th, 2023 at 10AM at Our Lady Hope Parish, Nativity Church, 5811 Curry Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Family is asking for everyone to please meet at the church. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
