Jameson Jared “Jamy” Leonardi
Age 50, of Lawrence, formerly of Suwanee, GA, suddenly and tragically passed away from COVID complications on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, after entering the hospital on Christmas Day.
Jamy was the beloved and adored husband of 15 years to his love, Beth (Mattie) Leonardi. He was the precious son, cherished beyond all words by his devoted parents, Harry and Alexis (Shemiloff) Leonardi; adored grandson of the late Alexander and Vera (Shemiloff) Bazzoli, and Harry and Dorothy (Viner) Leonardi; dear son-in-law of the late Joan Mattie; caring brother-in-law of Robert (Renee) Mattie, Christopher Mattie, Jennifer (Dave) Maney, and Patrick (Deborah) Mattie. He is also survived by one sister, and eight nieces and nephews. Jamy was the doting furdad of his beloved faithful companions, Chippy Christmas “Mr. Bippypaws” and Lola Pugglesworth.
Jamy was like no other—the most perfect husband and son with a huge heart. He was caring, gentle, generous, kind, humble, sensitive, forgiving, loving, thoughtful, fun and fun-loving. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, just like his grandfather, Alexander. Jamy will be forever deeply missed. His unexpected absence leaves a hole in his family’s hearts. They hold dear their many priceless memories of Jamy.
Arrangements by BEINHAUERS. The family will welcome guests at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 15317, 724-941-3211, on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. for visitation with his urn. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John XIII Parish, St. Benedict the Abbot Church on Wed. at 10 a.m., where the rosary will be said at 9:15 a.m. Everyone please meet at church, masks are required regardless of vaccination status.
