Age 92, of Concordia of the South Hills, formerly of Palm Coast, FL and Trumbull, CT, went home to the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. Preceded in death by his wife Dagny Elshaug Fjaere; loving father of Mettelise (Kurt) Ziegler of McMurray, PA and Siri (Antonio) Laurenza of Newtown, CT; proud grandfather of Christine Ziegler of South Fayette, PA and Loraine Ziegler, of Pittsburgh, PA. Harry was preceded in death by all of his seven siblings in Norway, as well as countless nieces and nephews. He was born to the late Haldor and Amanda (Horvli) Fjaere in Maloy, Norway on September 30, 1927. Harry was a veteran of the armed services in Norway. He was highly trained in a specialized trade guild in Norway and owned and operated a successful painting and paper hanging business in Trumbull, CT for over 30 years. He is a former secretary and president of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America, as well as former member of the Sons of Norway and several Lutheran churches. A memorial service at Ruthfred Lutheran Church in Bethel Park has yet to be scheduled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Funeral arrangements by Beinhauers, 724-941-3211.
