Obituary for Georgia Mae Graziano Cook

Georgia Mae Graziano (Cook), 92, of Lakeland, Florida and formerly of Upper St. Clair, PA, peacefully passed away on Oct. 28 at the Presbyterian Home in Lakeland. She was born in Tiltonsville, Ohio on Oct. 25, 1931, to her parents Harvey and Esther (Richards) Roth.
Georgia was an avid reader, and she loved shopping, making fruit cakes, and decorating for the holidays. She worked at Kaufmann’s Department Stores for many years. She was actively involved in the United Methodist Church in Pittsburgh and Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her first husband, Donald Graziano, and by her second husband Charles Cook. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Michelle Valentic and grandson Joshua Valentic. She is survived by daughter Donna Racz of Las Cruces, NM, son Roger Graziano of Mt. Lebanon, PA, grandson Sam Valentic of Las Cruces, NM, and great grandson Donald Valentic of Las Cruces, NM. She is also survived by her sister Nancy (the late Bill) Lutes of Weirton, W. Va., and devoted sister who was her caretaker Diane (John) Rubish of Lakeland, Fl, in addition to other nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will take place on Friday, November 10 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. followed by a prayer service at the Beinhauer Family Funeral Home in McMurray, PA located at 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317. Interment will immediately follow at nearby Forest Lawn Gardens Cemetery at 3739 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317.
