Frank Palmer, age 90, of Savannah, GA, Formerly Upper St. Clair, passed on Friday, May 22, 2020. Beloved husband for 52 years to Mary Jane Palmer; loving father of Frank Jr.(Sally) and Tom (Lauri); loving grandfather of Jane and Wells; brother of Bill Palmer; survived by many nieces and nephews. Frank was a proud Army veteran, serving during the Korean war. After graduating from Duquesne University, Frank had a successful 35-year career with US Steel and upon his retirement relocated from Houston, TX to Upper St. Clair. He was a history buff and enjoyed reading books and watching movies about the military and U.S. Presidents. Frank had an incredible sense of humor and was always making others laugh, particularly when talking with his grandchildren. He cherished the company of friends and family. Well known to have a cold beer while telling stories and joking around. He simply loved life. A small Family Gathering and Mass of Christian Burial has been planned by Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray (724-941-3211). Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
