Age 82, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of the South Side, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at his home with family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Mathilda “Mitzi” Malloy; loving father of Dawn (Joe) Pattinato, Michael (Leslie) Malloy, Timothy (Linette) Malloy and Jeffrey (Melissa) Malloy; cherished “Pap Pap” to (7) seven grandchildren, Joey, Justin, Trevor, Brittanie, Ashley, Amanda and Erin, one great-granddaughter, Brexlyn, and one great grandson Huxley; caring brother of Thaddeus (Audrey) Malloy, MaryAnn (Robert) Mathias, the late James (Marcia) Malloy, Patricia (the late Carl) Sorenson, and the late Howard (Janet) Malloy; treasured son of the late Francis and Genevieve Malloy, Sr. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Frank had a robust career with the Allegheny County Police Department and with Judge Mariani. He also had a successful private investigating company. Frank enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and cherished the friendships he made at the hunting camp. Frank was a huge movie buff and had a large movie collection. He also enjoyed going to the casino with his beloved wife, Mitzi. Frank will be remembered for his hard work ethic, caring nature, and most of all, love of family.
