Fannie Marie Stempkowski, formerly of Scottdale, PA, passed away on May 31, 2021, at age 93. Fannie was born April 4, 1928 in Old Forge, PA, the daughter of the late Angelina Catarina (Pallone) and Luigi DiNardo. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 69 years, Casimir J. Stempkowski, brothers Carmen and Frank, and a sister Anna.

Fannie worked at Pittsburgh Screw and Bolt where she met Cas, and later in the jewelry department of Ames Department Store. She was a former member of St. John the Baptist Church in Scottdale. Fannie enjoyed dancing with Cas, participating in several senior citizen groups in the Scottdale/Mt. Pleasant area, making noodles for senior groups’ fundraisers, perfecting her many delicious recipes, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.

Fannie will be sadly missed by her loving family: her son Dan and his wife Marilyn and their children Kelly (husband Jeff and children Lily and Ella) and son Danny (wife Meredith and children Logan and Brayden) of Winston Salem, NC, her son Lou and his wife Ginny and their children Emily (husband Matt and son Cody) and Lizzie of Pittsburgh, PA, sisters-in-law Beatrice, Josephine, and Ellen, and brothers-in-law Eugene and Tom, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Country Meadows of the South Hills and Bridges Hospice for their support and loving care.
