Of Providence Point (Scott Township), formerly of Upper St. Clair, on Friday, January 7th, at the age of 89. Ellie was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Florence Redfern. She is survived by her husband, Robert (Buzz) Wagner, who she met at study hall at Mt. Lebanon High School in 1948. Ellie and Buzz were married at the Marine Corps Chapel in Quantico, Virginia 67 years ago. Ellie is also survived by her loving children and daughters-in-law: Susanne, Rob (Beth), Keith (Joan), and Steven (Susan). Ellie was a good and caring mother and grandmother, and took great delight in grandchildren Bradford, Kyle Elinor (Michael Woomer), Clay, Emma, Steven, Grace, Kent, and Jillian. She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years, a member of Salvation Army's Women's Auxiliary, Pittsburgh Chapter, and the League of Women Voters. Ellie was a proud and enthusiastic graduate of Penn State University, a member of Chi Omega sorority, and loved Penn State football. In later years, she enjoyed playing golf and bridge, traveling to many parts of the world, and summer vacations at Hilton Head with the entire family. Also, a favorite was winters in Florida at Bayview Condominiums in Stuart, where she was a charter member of the Bayview Babes luncheon club. Arrangements by BEINHAUERS.
