Of McMurray, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023. She was born July 20, 1950 to the late Ralph and Wilma (Waltz) Work in Dennison, Ohio. She moved to McMurray, PA in 1980 with her husband of 49 years Walter “Jim” Van Lehn, who survives. Barbara graduated from Claymont HS in 1968 and graduated with honors from Washington & Jefferson College with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature. She was employed 30 years at St. Clair Hospital in the Cardiac/ Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center. She is survived by one brother, John (Louise) Work of Minerva, Ohio; One Sister in law Mary Jo (David) Blickensderfer of Delaware, OH; Nieces and Nephews, Michael (Amy) Work of Pittsburgh, Tracy (Donald) Joseph of Davison, MI, Matthew (Colleen) Blickensdefer of Springboro, OH, Beth (Greg) Hudson of Delaware, OH, Mandy (Brandon) Andreasen of Las Vegas, NV and Jenny (Ben) Weiss of Charleston, SC and 13 great nieces and nephews.
