Obituary for Annamarie Nedwick

Annamarie Nedwick passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and joined her beloved husband Robert in eternal peace on Thursday, May 6th, 2021. The oldest of three children, Annamarie was born on November 21st, 1933, to John and Anna Tkac in Pittsburgh, PA. She grew up in Squirrel Hill and attended and graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School. She had a love for art which led her to attend the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where she fine-tuned her eye for decorating, drawing and painting. She worked for Alcoa until she met her husband-to-be, Robert Nedwick. They wed in 1963 and in 1972, they built a house in Murrysville where Annamarie supported his legal studies and career by creating a thriving home, hosting get-togethers and dinner parties for friends and family alike. Annnamarie loved her family fiercely, creating a supportive, nurturing home environment. She was a born caretaker with her family as well as her own mother, brother and friends. She instilled in her daughters the belief of being able to accomplish anything. This spirit lives on with her daughters. Karen Nedwick-Castro (Ric and grandson, Dylan) and Amy Meinert (Kurt and grandchildren. Kyle, Brooke and Brett). Arrangements by BEINHAUER. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday May 11th, 2021, from 9:30 – 10 a.m. at BEINHAUER FUNERAL HOME, 2820 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine Labouré Parish, St. Louise de Marillac Church, 320 McMurray Road, Upper St Clair, PA 15241 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Annamarie wished continuing support for St Jude's Hospital (www.stjude.org).
