Obituary for Andrew Joseph Clark

Devoted Husband and Father, Andrew Clark, age 61, of South Fayette Township passed away Saturday morning. Andy was proud to have been born in Brookline, PA where he spent his childhood. He attended The Pennsylvania State University for Accounting. After several on and off campus encounters, he began dating his future wife, Vicki, during an accounting firm internship, where they both started their post college careers. Andy quickly moved on to an impressive career in the financial services industry with Mellon Bank/BNY Mellon. He held several leadership positions, including the Director of Investor Relations and most recently, the Director of Capital Adequacy. Andy achieved his MBA at the University of Pittsburgh.

For Andy, it was always about his family. Nothing put a bigger smile on his face, brightened his eyes more, or swelled his pride larger than his wife and daughters. In them, he had so much joy.

Additionally, Andy was a life-long athlete. He enjoyed working out, bicycling, and golfing. He loved the outdoors, vacations with his family, and watching his daughter Leigh Ann’s dog, Theo.

Andy was a man of modesty, charity, and faith. He was active in his parish and the practice of his beliefs. He embodied the best of Christianity in the example he set just by being himself and the way he lived his life.

Andy will be missed by his wife of 36 years, Vicki Clark, children Leigh Ann Clark and Andrea Matejko (Daniel), brother John Clark (Leslie), father-in-law and mother-in-law Victor and Nancy Zarka, sister in-laws and brother in-laws, nieces and nephews, and so many close and dear friends and colleagues. Andy was predeceased by his parents, John and Sara Clark.
