The BEINHAUER CAREGIVER EXCELLENCE AWARD for December was presented on January 27 to Amanda Olson, Volunteer Manager at VITAS Healthcare and Hospice. Amanda was the hospice worker who impressed her colleagues the most by going above and beyond in her duties last year December!
Among many other tasks, Amanda has been making sure that proper clothing and the ever-adorable Memory Bears have been making their way into the right hands. The Beinhauer Caregiver Excellence Award consists of a $50 gift card and a certificate, along with an entry into the drawing for the Caregiver Excellence Award of the Year. Amanda was presented her award by Katie Brandt, Beinhauer’s Community Outreach Director.

The BEINHAUER CAREGIVER EXCELLENCE AWARD for November was presented on December 21st to Mary Eichner, a Registered Nurse at Seven Oaks Hospice Care.
We actually received several nominations of caregivers at Seven Oaks HospiceCare who had gone above and beyond in their duties last month!
Even though they each were deserving of recognition, Mary stood out as “one of a kind.” Her selfless dedication to her patients has been apparent both to the families she has been working with, and to the colleagues who saw her in action.
