Scott is the 6th Beinhauer generation to serve Pittsburgh and its surrounding communities with over 20 years of funeral service experience. He graduated with honors from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, and has been a licensed funeral director since 1996.
Scott is currently the supervisor of the Beinhauer-Fryer Funeral & Cremation Service in Bridgeville. In 1999 Scott took on an added responsibility as Director of Funeral Operations for Beinhauer Family Services. This means Scott coordinates the day-to-day scheduling of staff and operations among the five locations that are family owned and operated by Beinhauer Family Services.
Residing in Peters Township with his wife, Tina and daughters, Emily, Madison, and Jocelyn, Scott is involved with the community as a member of the Lions Club, the Life Service Providers organization, VFW Post 764 in McMurray, Peters Township Chamber of Commerce, South Hills Chamber of Commerce and the South Hills YMCA. Scott’s also a fourth generation Rotarian serving with the Rotary Club of McMurray. When he’s not serving and caring for the community, he also enjoys hunting, fishing, playing sports, and spending quality time with his family.
Scott believes strongly in family values, personal commitment, and dedication. “The greatest satisfaction any funeral service can offer your family is individual, personalized, and meaningful service,” Scott says. We are committed to helping families heal.
